Youth Bardic Trials
Stand up, speak out! The Youth Bardic Trials invites young wordweavers (poets, rappers, storytellers, songwriters, comedians) to compete to become the voice of young people in the Stony Stratford area.

About The Event
Free outdoor event. Open to 8-16 year olds who live in Stony Stratford or the surrounding area.
Calling all those who have a voice and want to use it! Are you passionate about a cause in your community or want to highlight the dreams, successes and issues young people face? Then we need you! We are looking for the next Youth and Junior Bards of Stony Stratford to speak for the youth community of Stony Stratford and the surrounding area. If you are aged between 8-16yrs and would like the opportunity to use your words in the form of poetry, story, song, rap, or comedy then head to the Wolverton Road Recreation Ground on Sunday 2nd June to sign up for the competition between 12.15 -2.30pm. The main competition will take place after 3pm, same day same place. The Youth and Junior Bards will accompany the 'Big' Bard of Stony Stratford to various events, as well as have the opportunity to attend events of their own.
