The Magdalen Tower
See the Magdalen Tower through the eyes of Stony Stratford’s past and present Bards. Each Bard has up to 25 lines to declaim their tribute to the tower.

It’s hoped that all seven previous Bards & the current bard will contribute to the event with a poem of up to 25 lines. Donations are requested towards the cost of installing floodlights for the tower.
This is an outdoor event, and will take place at the foot of the Magdalen Tower. It can be accessed from the High Street via the alleyway next to Car Spares, or from the other end next to the Ancell Trust sports ground entrance.
The event will be introduced by Derek Gibbons.
And watch out for an event in the library on Magdalen Day - July 22nd.
