This Folk Tunes Practice Workshop is held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 6pm - 7.30pm at The Bull, Stony Stratford - Stables Bar. It is for players of acoustic instruments who are interested in playing at pub folk/music sessions and who wish to increase their repertoire and confidence playing folk tunes, accompanying, and improve their playing by ear.
It is suitable for all levels but as no tuition is provided, basic competence is needed.
On Wednesday 10th June, amongst other tunes, we will be playing : Lunch in the Pub, Wills Way, Soldier’s Joy, Winster Gallop, Salmon Tails, Kesh Jig, Oyster Girl and The Bear Dance.
