Carabosse Theatre Company was founded in 2012 by Artistic Director/Producer Sally Luff and a few core practitioners who still play an important role in the company.
As a CIC we like to work within our community of Stony Stratford where we are based and have in the past with our big sell out production of Mervyn Peake’s adaption of ‘Gormenghast’ in 2014 worked with A local theatre group ‘Encompass’ with adults with Learning disabilities and they played an important part to our show
We only work on new writing or adaptations and have successfully produced our ‘Real ale and Drama shot ‘ series of short dramas interspersed with music. All have a dark often humorous take of life and death and all are chosen from an open submission window nationally. We enjoy supporting new writers to find a platform for their work and promoting fringe theatre
