About The Event
The welcome return of Geoffrey & Val Taylor. Details to follow but Georffrey says he is planning 'Music to the Manor Born’ Popular English Music from the 17th century to the present day, springing from music I played at a production in Stony Words in January (The Butcher and Mrs Bennett) regarding the life and times at Calverton Manor in the 17th century. Over the Manor entrance is the date 1659, the date of Henry Purcell’s birth, the great master of English music, a starting point to other related pieces leading to the present day.
