Stony Stratford's very own community festival
"After further review, the StonyLive! co-ordination committee have decided to postpone StonyLive! 2020. This is because current self isolation advice for vulnerable people extends into the dates for StonyLive!. At all times we want to comply with government advice and maintain the health and safety of all concerned. We use the word “postpone” because we want StonyLive! to be a fundamental part of Stony Stratford's recovery and we will be making plans for that as soon as it is safe to do so. Because of the nature of the festival, using the pubs, restaurants and community spaces of Stony Stratford, we are very much aligned to their ability to open. This may mean, should they be open during the StonyLive! week, that some events may still go ahead but these will be stand alone events. Please talk to the venues for their plans. Our aim is always to support Stony Stratford and when the time is right, we will make the appropriate decisions to bring the best in music and art to your town. Please stay safe.”
ASK US ANYTHING
This year we are changing our business model. There are a lot of things to pay for when running a festival. We pay for insurance, licences, the Programme, advertising, first aid cover and many other things. In the past we have tried to sell you a raffle ticket but we are stopping that this year. Instead we are asking for voluntary donations. Our wonderful stewards will be passing around the events with buckets for your kind consideration. We also have an online bucket. So if you enjoy StonyLive! and wish to contribute to its future click on the bucket below. Thank you so much.
