Stony Stratford Town Council sees itself as enabling and encouraging local activity to take place and provide an important forum for local discussion and debate. In order to encourage such activiity, they have genrously donated some money for local groups and organisations subject to their approval. As well as supporting StonyLive! They support, Stony Open Gardens, Little Cherubs Toddler Group and many others.

For 25 years, the Stony Stratford Business Association has been promoting the town as an excellent, interesting and friendly place in which to do business. In addition to looking after the business community and keeping it informed of local issues, the SSBA has undertaken or supported a large number of community events, including the splendid Christmas Lights Display , the Switch-On & Fun Day, Christmas cards, the Hanging Baskets, and the Open Gardens festival. It sees events like these and StonyLive! as important contributions to the continuing success and enjoyment of the town.
