Having a hilarious moment

Ken Daniels - Learners' Swimming Certificate

  • Position: Artiste Coordinator and Website (etc) Editor
Ken has rejoined the StonyLive! committee after a few years' break during which time he has lived up to his "Dangerously Retired Promotions" tag, organising the likes of StonyWords!, Stony Feastival, Christmas Lights Switch-on Day, and a series of concerts and other events at York House Centre. He is also Chairman of the York House Centre Trustees. In his spare time, he likes to travel, cook and eat exotic food, read real books made of paper, listen to music, and help stop small breweries from going bankrupt. His favourite quote is Kurt Vonnegut's "We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different."

Andrew Metcalfe

  • Position: StonyLive! Management Committee Secretary
Andrew Metcalfe was born in 1958 in Northampton. He was married in 1985 and his daughter was born in 1991. After his office moved to Stony in 2008, he took the plunge and moved house to Stony in 2010. Andrew learnt to play the violin at Primary School, but gave it up as a teenager in order to pursue a career as a rock star. He gave up being a rock star in his twenties and took up playing the violin again. He now plays along side his wife and five others in the Blisworth Tunnel Rats.

Andy Powell

  • Position: StonyLive! Management Committee Chairman
Andy has been on the committee for five years and specialises in typing under the influence. However, he also does a lot of the PR. The one thing for sure is that he is commited to live music, either creating it, organising it or just plain listening to it. He also takes the odd festival photograph or two. You can still check those out on the old web site in the links pages.
