Andy has been on the committee for five years and specialises in typing under the influence. However, he also does a lot of the PR. The one thing for sure is that he is commited to live music, either creating it, organising it or just plain listening to it. He also takes the odd festival photograph or two. Ken formerly the landlord of the Fox and Hounds now spends his time.... in arounf other pubs in Stony. But he also helps organise many a festival in Stony Stratford. He is a founder committee member of “StonyLive!” which he reckons is the dog’s knees, as he’s always had problems mixing metaphors. His view is that anything that lets you enjoy yourself and others in over 40 richly-varied and imaginative ways in 9 days can’t be too bad. He pulled (but not drank) his last pint a few years ago and retired to concentrate on having a social life, setting up “Dangerously Retired Promotions” to run four other festivals in Stony. He took a short sabatical from StonyLive but now he is back helping us organise the venues and artists.. He is currently trying to see the rest of the world with his lovely partner, Angie, and looking up the word “retired” in the dictionary. Hence the photograph of his garden wall.

Maurice has been involved with the local music scene for over 30 years, both as a musician and organiser. He was once heavily involved in the Hogsty Folk Club, in Aspley Guise and has been a resident singer at the Song Loft for many years. In recent years he has been part of the organising committee of the Song Loft, acting as compere, as well as looking after internet publicity.

Andy has joined the StonyLive committe in 2012. Andy has been tasked with keeping the StonyLive Facebook and Twitter accounts up to date in the run up to the start of the festival. Andy also runs the AboutMyArea MK11 local news and information website, along with the Stony Stratford Facebook and Twitter pages, and is a committee member of the Stony Stratford Business Association.
