Thanks to Andy and all the committee for a fantastic Stony Live 2010. I can only repeat what so many others have already said - I feel so fortunate to live in an area that can boast so much diverse talent, young and old and also has such generous people who give their time and energy so that we can all enjoy it. Thanks once again.

Congratulations to the committee for another fantastic Stony Live! What a week and a bit...... There were so many brilliant events to chose from and some fantastic talent, both young and old (me being in the 'old' bracket!). Well done and looking forward to next year already! Sue

What can I say other than a big thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make Stony Live happen. How lucky we are to have such talent and brilliant entertainment where we live. A wonderful atmosphere and something very special.

Andy P. takes, and is uploading some excellent photos on this site. I may have a few differet snaps from his but I can not compare my amateurish snaps with his excellent photos. We will see later on if I have a few different snaps, and see if Andy P wishes to include them on this site. I am very impressed with the great effort put into Stony Live by one and all. A truely tremdous endeavour. Well done everyone. Best wishes for now. Bye.

REF. Jim Couza at The Crown barn this week. What a guy! A very sensitive and multi-skilled musician. He made the audience his friends very quickly with friendly communication and jokes etc. His playing was suberb. The audience participated during many songs. Some of his songs brought tears to the eyes with his deep feelings of pathos expressed in music and words. Truely a well travelled and experienced man, with a multitude of talent obtained from personal experience and personal research. It was a pleasure and privilage to see and hear him perform. One of those once in a lifetime experiences, enjoyed in a friendly and relaxed intimate venue. All who attended will never forget this brilliant performance.

Jenny Newman's Barndance 2008 was brilliant. Many dancers there. Also The Big Fiddle Band played together under Jenny's direction very ably. Excellent. Also Michele Wellborn sang delightfully at The Crown 2008. Raptous applause at the end. And well deserved too.

Andy, you're a star organising this and making time to come sailing with me too, missing the folk on the green and 3 days of photos. Perhaps I will fly back from my travels next year and strum some strings at Stony 2008 with you for a change.

It was unfortunate about the **** & Bull cancellation. This was a decision made by the band and not the management commitee. Unfotunately I did not know soon enough so I could update the website. My Apologies to the gentleman concerned. and yes it is resurring that not everybody follows football. :-)

Fantastic Event but very disappointed to find the **** and bull band was cancelled due to the England game!!

First of all i would like to thank the organisers for what a fantastic job they do to organise this wonderfull event, Cheers. The second thing i would like to mention is the massive disappointment me and many other's felt when arriving at the plough last night to find the **** and Bull band had been cancelled due to the england match!! Did no one know the England game was on until Yesterday? A lot of people changed plans to be able to catch a look at the best band in Stony me being one of them changing shifts to be able to see them.

Greatly enjoyed the "Tribute to Woody Guthrie" on Wednesday evening. Helped to put my hazy ideas about his music, the US and the depression etc. into perspective.

Ref California Dreaming I am afraid there was a band decision about shorts... it was all because of my knees! Thank for a great audience that made it a great night. Andy
